I literally grabbed my bottle of Myrtle and just had a good long snifffff today for no apparent reason. It's called intuition! Our bodies KNOW what they need to support themselves. The key is having the right oils on hand & learning to trust that intuition!!!! ????? # justcallmeesther
Raise your hand if you have HORMONES!!!!! ???????? Everyone should be raising their hand. Are they running WILD? ????????
Reach for Clary Sage and Myrtle!
These two oils should be the first essential oils women should get straight after their starter kits. They give our hormones a one-two punch of support!!
?? First we have Clary Sage. The support you receive from this mint family plant is so comforting. Soothing in nature, clary sage has warming effects when applied to the skin and particularly the belly area. Check out these fabulous benefits ~
*Supports normal menstrual cycle*
Relaxing and soothing to the nervous system. Many women have found some serious support when mixing Clary Sage, with marjoram, cinnamon, ginger and geranium essential oils rubbed on the abdomen. Doing this may bring comfort and a relaxed feeling to occasional belly tension.
*Supports Hormonal Balance*
Clary Sage supports normal estrogen levels and a healthy uterus.
*Supports a healthy night’s sleep*
Being naturally soothing to the nervous system, it is also a comfort to our brains allowing the brain to relax and feel at peace during the night.
*Supports normal circulation*
Clary Sage supports the blood vessels and supports healthy blood circulation; it also supports normal blood pressure by relaxing the brain.
*Healthy stress management*
Clary sage boosts confidence and mental strength. It also has peaceful properties, leaving you with a feeling of joy and ease.
*Supports Healthy Skin*
Clary Sage supports the normal production of oil on the skin so combining Clary sage with vitamin E makes for a perfect skin soother that will keep the skin even throughout the day.
?? Oh our friend Myrtle, an oil as old as, well, time. In the Scriptures there was a woman named Esther who was preparing to be the next queen to a king who ousted the last queen because she wouldn't entertain him and his drunk friends. Awesome character wouldn't you say?
This is important to know as we learn about the properties of Myrlte.
Esther’s name was Hadassah, which in Hebrew is Myrtle. This was one of the major parts of her perfume that she bathed in, got a massage with for an entire year! An entire year she was bathed in an oil that is her namesake and had fantastic properties surrounding what she was about to have to go in to.
Myrtle has a clear, fresh, herbaceous scent, similar to eucalyptus. Supportive of the respiratory system, skin, and hair, it has been researched for its support on glands and its soothing effects when inhaled. It is also helpful for meditation and lifting the spirit. A great oil to rub along the abdomen as well as the ankles, (pressure points for your reproductive system).
Now some of you might be saying -----what about those of us that are past the age of needing monthly support. How would you suggest we use these two oils? I would say the same way. If you dig a little deeper you'll see it supports women of all ages. But always remember everyone is different, different DNA and different ways of responding to the oils. But both over the abdomen is a great starting point I would say. Some of you I have heard say this my ooo-la-la oil - for us more mature females this will support the "dewy" hormones. Now how many of you are grabbing these two this month? ????????
