A good way to pay it forward is to donate your wedding dress to a charitable organization. Little over a decade ago I learned of this service and I think I used "Brides Against Breast Cancer". At the time they accepted all pre-owned dresses. Mine was circa 1975. All it cost me was the shipping. When the dress is sold the proceeds are used to fund breast cancer victims. This was the perfect karma for me as my own mother never got to see me wear my dress because she had died of breast cancer when I was a teenager. little bride dresses
Just take lots of pictures of it and send it off to make another bride happy. You are also recycling your dress and making a lot more room in your closet!
